The Elixir is the latest pool dining table to be added to our range. This model provides a contemporary design look and is manufactured in the UK. It comes in two sizes, and we can offer a vast range of cabinet and cloth finishes to suit your decor perfectly. The Elixir is a top of the range pool diner and comes with free delivery and professional set-up included in the price. We also offer a substantial accessory kit with this table.

This stylish model is made for UK pool and comes with 2-inch full-size Aramith pool balls. It has a 3/4 inch thick slate bed playing surface and provides a replica game to the one played in pubs and clubs throughout the UK. Elixir is a hardwearing, heavy-duty free play pool table that will provide years of fun and games.

This table can be customised to suit your location. We offer the table in two sizes (6ft or 7ft) and a range of cabinet colour finishes. We also provide a comprehensive range of cloth colours from leading manufacturers. This table comes with matching dining tops and the option to add matching benches and stand holders.

Cloth

This Xcalibur pool dining table can be fitted with World Famous Strachan 'West of England' pool cloth which has been made in Gloucester since 1890. Strachan English pool cloth is regarded around the world as the leading brand in its sector.

For over 30 years the only cloth used in the World Snooker Championships has been made by Strachan which speaks volumes for the quality.

The cloth fitted on your table will be Strachan 6811 pool cloth which, is a Premium grade, fast, league quality pool cloth. Good control and response. It is also treated with SpillGuard™ to protect against stains and spills.

Premium Range of Cloth Colours

As well as Strachan pool cloth, we can also offer a range of cloths produced by Hainsworth. The Hainsworth Smart cloth is regarded as one of the finest cloth on the market, and it also comes in a vast range of colours. This allows you to match your decor perfectly.

Smart cloth is a premium baize that provides an excellent playing experience. This woollen napped cloth is hard-wearing, fast and very responsive. A superb playing surface by a World leader in pool cloth.

Speed Cloth

We can provide your table with speed cloth if that is your prefered choice. Speed cloth is a napless cloth that provides an extremely fast game. This type of baize is generally found on the larger American style tables. The majority of UK pub tables are fitted with a traditional wool cloth. If you would prefer a Speed cloth, then please email or call after you have placed your order to advise.

Speed cloth is the choice of baize used on the IPA pool tour. This cloth is the Simonis 861 Powder Blue cloth. If you require this cloth, please select when ordering.

Required Room Size

A Good rule of thumb is to allow for a minimum of 4ft space all around the table for optimum playing comfort.

 

So for instance a 7ft x 4ft table would have 4ft either end of the long side of the table making 15ft ( 7ft table length + 4ft + 4ft ) and the same on the width making 12ft ( 4ft table width + 4ft + 4ft ). Please see our recommended guide below.

 

 

If you are tight for space then don't panic because we have shorter cues at 36" 42" and 48" for the shot when the ball is tight on the cushion. 

Both the 6ft and 7ft tables are classed as league tables although most leagues prefer to play on a 7ft table if space permits. Either way both tables provide a great game so don't try and squeeze a 7ft in if it is going to be uncomfortable when playing. 

It is important to check the size of the room to see if your intended table will fit. If a table is too large for the room you may not enjoy playing on it. A good idea is to draw a plan of the room and measure it at the nearest points to where your table is intended to stand. Do not measure into bay windows or to the recesses of a fireplace. All large furniture should be outside the measurements.

Finally if your table has to go upstairs we will require photos or a video to ensure access is possible. We rarely have a failed install but if there are any impossible turns or bad access then we can always supply a kit form table and built it up in your premises. There is an extra charge for this service but it will ensure that the table goes in safely and without damage.

Delivery & Installation

We deliver Pool Tables to most locations in the UK. However, this is only to UK mainland addresses.

The delivery lead time on this table is approximately 6-8 weeks. We can sometimes surprise and install a little quicker if we have stock or can get the table sooner from the manufacturers. We are located in close proximity to all the suppliers which allows us to collect your table quickly as it comes off the production line. Many of our competitors are located further afield and wait for several tables to be ready before making their collection. So for speedy delivery we have the edge.

Please note we would require onsite parking for a transit van on the day of delivery. Installations can take around 1 hour to complete.

Delivery with Installation

Our two-man team of professional fitters can take away the strain, worry and hard work and leave your table perfect and ready to play. The table will be left ready to play and will have been levelled for a professional game.

Basement and Upper floor delivery and installations incur a surcharge of £60. Delivery to more remote areas of the country including Cornwall and the North of Scotland are subject to a delivery surcharge. Please contact us for more details.
